Position Overview: The main goal of this role is to construct a diverse range of products while achieving quality and efficiency targets in a manufacturing environment. The individual will collaborate closely with team members, the area Lead, and the supervisor to meet team performance, quality, and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct various products in accordance with established work instructions and schematics.
  • Set up and operate production machinery and fixtures as required.
  • Develop proficiency in multiple assembly tasks while adhering to standards for workmanship, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing and production documentation, including initiating basic material requests, reporting quality concerns, tracking efficiency, and recording measurements as necessary.
  • Ensure the accuracy of identification and inventory of point-of-use materials.
  • Effectively determine and report material needs.
  • Comply with all corporate, regulatory, safety, and manufacturing policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds as required by job responsibilities.
  • Capability to maintain a standing position for extended periods when necessary.
  • Proficient in the use of commonly used hand tools, with prior experience in grinding or soldering being advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
  • Willingness to accommodate overtime work when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in assembly operations.
  • Experience in interpreting and following blueprints and familiarity with technical terminology.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings with colleagues, supervisors, or engineers.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
