Key Responsibilities:

The Social Media Intern will be involved in various tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the creation, execution, and assessment of the annual social media strategy for IFI Tempe's platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube)
  • Conducting research and developing innovative social media strategies, contests, and campaigns for IFI Tempe
  • Utilizing design tools such as Canva to create engaging social media content that resonates with target audiences
  • Participating in IFI Tempe events to capture photos and videos for content development
  • Editing video content, including event highlights, to effectively showcase IFI's mission to volunteers, donors, and international students
  • Evaluating social media metrics and proposing, testing, and implementing enhancements to boost online engagement
  • Creating promotional materials such as flyers for IFI events and activities

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and organizational policies
  • Experience or training in social media management and content creation
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in technology, including tools like Canva, Adobe, Photoshop, and Google applications
