About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a day shift schedule. You will be responsible for providing advanced and specialized clinical knowledge and skills to facilitate the provision of patient/family-focused care. You will also drive practice changes throughout the organization and ensure the use of evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert care to patients and families in the Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice changes to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Two years of experience in Emergency Nursing
  • CEN Certification (Certified Emergency Nurse) or other related certification
  • Virginia Clinical Nurse Specialist License in good standing
  • Virginia or Compact/Multistate RN in good standing
  • BLS through AHA
  • ACLS
  • PALS
