About the Role:This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a day shift schedule. You will be responsible for providing advanced and specialized clinical knowledge and skills to facilitate the provision of patient/family-focused care. You will also drive practice changes throughout the organization and ensure the use of evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert care to patients and families in the Emergency Department
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice changes to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety and satisfaction
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Two years of experience in Emergency Nursing
- CEN Certification (Certified Emergency Nurse) or other related certification
- Virginia Clinical Nurse Specialist License in good standing
- Virginia or Compact/Multistate RN in good standing
- BLS through AHA
- ACLS
- PALS
