Job Title: CT Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Flossmoor, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform CT scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  2. Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  3. Operate CT scanners and other equipment to produce high-quality images.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.
  6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Graduate of an approved Radiology Technology Program.
  • ARRT certification in CT.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
