Job Title: CT Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Flossmoor, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform CT scans on patients, following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  3. Operate CT scanners and other equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging results, and other relevant data.
  6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with a focus on CT imaging.
  • Graduate of an approved Radiology Technology Program.
  • ARRT certification in CT.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
