Job Overview

The Junior Project Manager/Technical Business Analyst is a critical role within the project team, responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of client systems. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to understand and define their business functions and processes, and develop technical specifications to support application development.
  • Project Management: Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to oversee the overall software development effort, including identifying and managing project risks and issues, developing project management office deliverables, and providing leadership and management of project resources.
  • Technical Analysis: Analyze complex data sets and provide insights to support business decision-making, and develop software requirements specifications to ensure applications meet business requirements.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Develop test scenarios and coordinate user acceptance testing with stakeholders and development teams, and gather and manage user feedback during testing phases.
  • Production Support: Work closely with the project team to troubleshoot and address production issues, and track and communicate the status and resolution of production issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field.
  • PMP Certification or interest in obtaining PMP Certification, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or project management roles, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Experience with technical requirements gathering, technical specification documentation, developing test scenarios, and testing.
Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with business process modeling (BPMN) and workflow tools.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools like Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts related to software development, databases, or cloud technologies.
  • Exposure to project management frameworks such as PMP, Scrum, or PRINCE2.
