Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing project management services for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of campus building systems, utilities, and hardscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management services for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of campus building systems, utilities, and hardscapes.
  • Provide engineering input to facilities management in resolving issues involving physical building systems, utilities, and hardscapes.
  • Represent the Institute in damage insurance claims associated with campus facilities; collect and submit reports and records and facilitate claim resolution.
  • Provide updates to the Facilities Condition Analysis (FCA) program and provide information for the Major Rehabilitation and Repair (MRR) funding submittal.
  • Ensure that project documents such as as-builts, warranties, and O&M manuals are associated with the appropriate asset in the AiM IWMS.
  • Identify, submit, and manage contracts; identify and purchase materials; maintain purchase records.
  • Review projects to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes.
  • Compile, produce, and edit engineer reports utilizing various sources of information.
  • Serve as an interface for projects with various campus stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architecture Technology, or related field.
  • Four to five years of job-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fundamentals Examine (FE) or Engineer-in Training (EIT) Certified, Professional Engineers License, Professional Architectural License, State Trade License.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architecture Technology, or related field.
  • Eight to ten years of job-related experience.
