Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to collaborate with attorneys in performing various legal/compliance-related tasks, including document drafting, research, and support during legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, letters, and reports to determine their significance and distribute appropriately.
  • Create and maintain legal/compliance documents and related internal processes.
  • Organize and coordinate all legal/compliance matters, including discovery process (document production, interrogatory responses, and affidavits, etc.).
  • Generate and distribute litigation hold orders.
  • Coordinate, verify, and process invoice payments.
  • Enter and maintain in-house/outside counsel information in automated systems.
  • Generate and edit contract-based documents and maintain contract management systems.
  • Aid in drafting legal documents and contracts, as well as organizing/managing/retaining documents.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, preparing meeting agendas, taking and distributing meeting minutes, managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling appointments with internal and external parties, sorting and distributing correspondence, and maintaining database records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of preferred experience in a related field.
  • Prior experience in a legal setting is a plus.

  • Proven knowledge of the Legal/Compliance field.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally and to explain legal issues to all levels of management.
  • Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and principles.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Willing to collaborate, share knowledge, respond quickly to urgent matters, and execute proactively.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
