Job Summary:
We are seeking an Optician to provide exceptional customer service and support to our patients at JD Harris PC dba Beaverton Vision World. As an Optician, you will work closely with patients to understand their lifestyle and needs, help them select the perfect eyewear, and ensure a precise fit. You will also be responsible for explaining pricing and insurance coverage, as well as maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet with patients to discuss their eyewear needs and preferences
  • Provide expert guidance on frame selection and ensure a perfect fit
  • Take accurate measurements for lenses and submit orders to the lab
  • Explain pricing and insurance options to patients in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times

Qualifications:
  • Previous optician experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • A strong understanding of HIPAA regulations is required
  • Excellent customer service skills are necessary to provide a positive patient experience
