Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Aide/CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Prepare and serve light meals
- Assist with feeding patients when needed
- Assist patients with ambulation and provide support with walkers or wheelchairs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
- Document patient care and report any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance
- Current CPR certification
