About Alta Contracting

Alta Contracting is a full-service demolition contractor providing commercial and industrial demolition services. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, we are well-versed in all phases of commercial interior and exterior demolition.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct soft demolition tasks, including interior demolition, exterior demolition, concrete work by hand, and roof materials removal.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for soft demolition work.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Assist in the removal and disposal of debris and waste materials generated during demolition.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • This job requires constant walking, standing, and physically lifting debris; must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to commute anywhere in LA County, Orange County, San Diego County, Riverside County, San Bernardino, and Santa Barbara County.
  • Must be open to working days, nights & weekends if needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently.
  • Must be open to working with others.
Additional Requirements
  • Are you able to read survey stakes?
  • Setting grade.
  • Knowledge and experience of using grade equipment for operators like bobcat and water trucks.
  • Using lasers and knowing quality assurance.
