Position Overview

Temple Ohav Shalom Center for Early Learning (TOSCEL) is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to become part of our educational team. We are currently seeking a Lead Preschool Educator who will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.

This role involves designing and implementing engaging activities that promote cognitive and creative development in preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will be committed to utilizing the Reggio Emilia philosophy, integrating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) principles into daily learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide preschool children through activities that encourage intellectual and creative growth.
  • Create a safe and enjoyable learning atmosphere.
  • Establish routines that ensure ample time for physical activity, rest, and play.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with both students and their families.
  • Provide regular updates to parents regarding their children's progress and development.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in childcare, education, or related fields is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Strong ability to connect with children and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Exhibit patience and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
