Job Summary

Mack Studios is seeking a highly skilled Cabinet Fabricator to join our team. As a Cabinet Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing custom cabinets and furniture using a variety of materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and repair custom cabinets and furniture using hand tools and machinery.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan and execute projects.
  • Operate various carpentry machinery, including power saws, jointers, and sanders.
  • Utilize hand tools, such as planes, chisels, and files, to fabricate and repair high-density plastic laminate (HDPL) cabinets and other high-grade furniture.
  • Ensure materials match color, grain, or texture.
  • Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit.
  • Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels.
  • Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together.
  • Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints to prepare articles for finishing.
  • Repair high-grade articles of furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Install cabinetry components, such as hinges and drawer pulls.
  • Complete countertop fabrication in both plastic laminate and solid surface.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a cabinetry carpenter or skilled cabinet builder.
  • Aptitude for precision and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Experience utilizing common hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HDPL a plus.
Work Environment

Mack Studios offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a $100 allowance for approved safety shoes and glasses per year. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, with overtime dependent upon production schedule.

Benefit eligibility begins on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment.
