Cabinet Fabricator

Mack Studios is seeking a highly skilled Cabinet Fabricator to join our team. As a Cabinet Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing high-grade furniture and cabinets using various hand tools and machinery.

• Accurately and efficiently construct custom projects using hand tools and machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan and execute construction projects.
• Operate various carpentry machinery, including power saws, jointers, and mortisers, to construct and repair cabinets and furniture.
• Utilize hand tools to fabricate and repair High Density Plastic Laminate (HDPL) cabinets and other high-grade furniture.
• Ensure materials match color, grain, or texture.
• Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit, using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or files.
• Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels by hand or using boring machine.
• Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit, using clamps or clamping machine.
• Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints of articles to prepare articles for finishing.
• Repair high-grade articles of furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
• Install cabinetry components such as hinges, catches, drawer pulls, etc.
• Complete countertop fabrication in both Plastic Laminate and Solid Surface.

• Prior experience as a Cabinetry carpenter/Skilled Cabinet Builder/Fabricator.
• Aptitude for precision and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Experience utilizing common hand tool and power tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate and function in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HDPL a plus.

Mack Studios offers a competitive work environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, with overtime dependent upon production schedule. Benefits eligibility begins on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. A $100.00 allowance for approved safety shoes/glasses per year is also provided.
