Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key leader in our care team, you will provide exceptional patient care, foster a team environment, and contribute to advancing the field of oncology nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses
- Conduct training and education sessions to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality patient care
- Assess staff performance and complete annual reviews
- Accountable for the overall day-to-day infusion operations
- Travel to assigned sites to conduct safety and operational inspections
- Collaborate effectively with operational management and physicians
- Manage staff schedules, call-outs, and ratios
- Manage disciplinary conduct issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- One year of RN Supervisor experience
- Oncology experience preferred
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification Required within 3 months upon hire
- Must maintain current BLS certification throughout employment
