Key Responsibilities
  • Automation System Design and Implementation: Design and implement automation systems that streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Middleware Support: Provide technical support and maintenance for middleware application software, including BMC Control-M, Axway Tumbleweed, and Fortra Globalscape EFT.
  • Batch Processing and File Transmission: Build and maintain complex batch processing and file transmission workflows using tools such as Fortra Automate Schedule.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot installation and implementation issues with business users and software vendors.
  • System Administration: Work with system administrators, DBAs, and networking engineers to improve ongoing service delivery and ensure high availability platforms.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Organize, produce, and report on the progress of ongoing testing, trials, and evaluation of new products and services.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years total IT experience
  • 1-2 years of level 2 or above support experience in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Experience with BMC Control-M, Axway Tumbleweed, Fortra Globalscape EFT, and Fortra Automate Schedule
  • Scripting skills using perl, shell, cmd, PL/SQL, MS SQL, and python
  • Excellent proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows interfaces
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure is a plus
  • Basic office skills such as word processing and spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as FTP, SSH, and SSL
