Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lifeguard to join our team at the Greater Beverly YMCA. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all swimmers at our indoor and outdoor pools during our opening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct service through attentive lifeguarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of all swimmers.
  • Assess the skill level of swimmers and provide direction in maintaining the safety of the pool.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a positive and safe experience for all participants.

Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • YUSA swim instructor/lifeguard certified preferred, but not required, training may be provided.
