Medical Assistant

As a valued member of the National Guard Employment Network team, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our outpatient clinical team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care by greeting patients, taking vital signs, and reviewing current medications.
- Assist with tracking and monitoring department-specific data to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients using clinical or administrative knowledge.
- Manage patient care flow and assist with monitoring CS-Link message pools and standard work.
- Set up exam rooms and procedure rooms appropriately based on patient visit needs.
- Clean and maintain equipment and supplies according to standard work and department guidelines.
- Address patient, physician, and staff concerns and escalate accordingly.
- Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational or Technical Diploma in Medical Assisting or related field preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
- 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinical or medical office setting preferred.
