At Maple Crest, we are excited to present 12-hour shift opportunities for the role of Certified Medication Aide. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact while delivering compassionate and quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will:
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals in alignment with state regulations and company protocols.
- Assist residents with daily activities as needed, fulfilling the role of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) when required.
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6AM - 6PM
- Night Shift: 6PM - 6AM
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Medication Aide license / CMA (40-hour training) in Nebraska.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Nebraska.
- Experience in Long Term Care is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience as a Certified Medication Aide / CMA is preferred; Certified Nursing Assistant / C.N.A experience is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a positive attitude, patience, and emotional maturity to effectively engage with residents, families, and colleagues.
