We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track professor in Business Analytics and Information Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing high-quality courses in the field of Business Analytics and Information Systems, as well as contributing to the department's research and service activities.
Responsibilities- Teach and develop courses in Business Analytics and Information Systems, including both undergraduate and graduate-level courses.
- Conduct and maintain an active research agenda that results in quality journal publications.
- Contribute to the department's service activities, including academic advising, committee work, and other departmental responsibilities.
- Provide high-quality academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Contribute to the support of the department's student recruitment and retention efforts.
- PhD or DBA in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited Business School or a research-oriented program.
- Scholarly activity to meet Quinnipiac School of Business-AACSB Scholarly Academic.
- Previous teaching and professional experience in the information technology field is preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence of teaching effectiveness in classroom environments for undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Commitment to a supportive and collegial work environment.
