Job Description

At Senior Lifestyle Corporation, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Care Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of Resident Care: Supervise and administer medications in accordance with Federal and State regulations, as well as Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
  • Resident Admissions: Conduct thorough admission assessments and document accurately.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement acute and long-term care plans or service plans under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
  • System Tracking: Monitor clinical systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Health Consultations: Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
  • Communication: Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident's health and provide proper documentation.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
  • Educational Meetings: Conduct educational meetings for residents and staff.
Requirements:
  • Education: An Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience and training.
  • Language Proficiency: Acceptable fluency in English to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and third parties.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
