Job Overview

Crew NY is seeking a skilled Brunch Server to join our experience-focused front of house team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Guide our guests, demonstrating thorough knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and preparation methods. Exhibit great communication skills and a pleasant, friendly attitude at all times.
  • Order Taking: Accurately take guests' orders and input into our POS system, maintaining correct transaction records.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Comply with our established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards; observe proper food preparation and handling techniques and safety protocols.
  • Teamwork: Effectively communicate guest needs with our front of house and back of house teams, ensuring seamless service.
  • Alcohol Service: Ensure compliance with all State and local alcohol ordinances and the implementation of those ordinances.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain knowledge and understanding of every item on our menu, answering guest questions with clarity and confidence, and providing recommendations upon request.
  • Service Standards: Provide friendly, gracious, motivated, detail-oriented, and responsive service to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to perform essential job functions in a high business volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods of time as required to perform essential job functions.
  • Lifting: Able to lift 30+ lbs.
  • Schedule: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and variable schedules, per the needs of the business.
  • Age: Be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge: General knowledge of industry safety standards and procedures.
  • Appearance: Polished personal presentation; grooming meets our company standards, as outlined by our Employee Handbook.
  • Certifications: State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card.
