Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Discovery Therapy. As a Therapy Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children in our early intervention program.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time, part-time, or contract/per-diem position available, offering flexible hours between 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized education plans, ensuring each child receives the best possible support.
  • We require a Special Instructor with a current PA School Certification in Early Childhood/Special Education, either in special education or holding the PK-4 or the older Early Childhood N-3 certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for children in our early intervention program.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional care and support to children.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify children's needs and develop strategies for support.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless support for children.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of $50-60 per hour.
  • Flexible hours as you choose between 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Current PA School Certification in Early Childhood/Special Education.
