Job Summary:
The Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator RN is a Registered Nurse who develops and maintains trauma injury prevention and outreach programs in accordance with the American College of Surgeons Trauma Center Verification Program and state designated trauma program guidelines.
This position utilizes the trauma registry to develop outreach and education programs for the community and professionally within local hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain trauma injury prevention and outreach programs
- Utilize the trauma registry to develop outreach and education programs
- Collaborate with local hospitals to implement outreach and education programs
- Ensure compliance with American College of Surgeons Trauma Center Verification Program and state designated trauma program guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of two years of experience in health education and/or Emergency/Critical Care of the Trauma patient
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
- PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC certifications preferred
