This is a leadership position responsible for guiding the development of digital user experiences that support Highmark Health's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design and experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and customer-centric digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop UX strategies that meet those objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of interaction design and information architecture deliverables.
  • Oversee the development of digital patterns and UI/UX/Visual standards, and ensure adherence to those standards.
  • Evaluate new software and technology capabilities, and assess vendor solutions.
  • Perform management responsibilities, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Design/Fine Arts, Psychology, or a closely-related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience delivering user-centered digital design for multiple, complex digital initiatives.
  • 3-5 years experience in a lead role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Agency/Consulting Experience.
  • Healthcare or Health Insurance Experience.

Skills

  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Highly motivated with exceptional organizational skills.
  • A passion for technology and digital media.
  • Extensive design experience, from initial development to ongoing support.
