About the Location

Our resort is situated in a stunning oceanfront setting, surrounded by white-sand beaches and black-lava landscapes. The spirit of Hawaii informs every detail of our idyllic retreat, from its long-held traditions to its inspired art. We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate who shares our passion for excellence and who can infuse enthusiasm into everything they do.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate who can provide exceptional customer service, create an atmosphere of authentic Hawaiian hospitality, and embody the Golden Rule in every interaction. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape our guests' experiences, build positive relationships, and strive to achieve personal quantitative goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create an atmosphere of authentic Hawaiian hospitality
  • Present a professional image and character in appearance, words, and actions
  • Be an active participant in all Retail Department events and promotions
  • Create and build positive relationships with guests, homeowners, coworkers, and vendors
  • Strive to achieve personal quantitative goals, such as sales volume and units per transaction
  • Embody all Four Seasons Resort Hualalai standards
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe working environment
  • Participate in physical store inventories
  • Maintain visual presentation and merchandising standards
  • Stay up-to-date on all communications
  • Perform daily store operations, including cash and bank management, floor security, POS transactions, stockroom organization, and floor replenishment
  • Help process merchandise deliveries and remerchandise the selling floor as needed
Requirements
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Ability to accurately read and work with a variety of computer systems
  • Possess one to three years of previous retail sales experience
  • A sincere willingness to perpetuate the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai philosophy of Aloha and Ho'okipa
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Capability of multi-tasking and functioning well under pressure
  • Able to set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
  • Possess a high work ethic and sense of integrity
  • Works with a sense of responsibility and purpose for the roles filled within our team
  • Has a keen eye and interest for fashion, visual merchandising, and the details of merchandise presentation
  • Weekend and holiday availability required
