Electrical Estimator

Trotter Workforce is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates, reviewing proposal documents, and evaluating potential cost savings opportunities.

• Estimating and Bidding: Prepare detailed estimates for electrical construction projects, including material and equipment costs, labor costs, and other expenses.
• Proposal Review: Review proposal documents, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
• Value Engineering: Evaluate potential areas for cost savings and develop strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Project Management: Participate in pre-construction interviews, scope reviews, and other project-related activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating or managing electrical construction projects.
• Education: Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in using electrical bidding software, PDF viewers, and CAD software. Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Certifications: Must be eligible to work in the US and willing to undergo a drug screen.
