We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Leader to join our team at the Delta One Lounge in JFK, NY. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional dining experiences for our premium travelers.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Collaborate with our Executive Chef to develop and implement menus that meet the high standards of our elite clientele.
- Culinary Operations Management: Assist in managing cost controls, maintaining budget oversight, and ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary team.
- Catering and Events: Lead the execution of catering events, ensuring top-notch service, presentation, and quality.
- Culinary Program Development: Partner with our marketing and culinary teams to roll out new culinary programs and initiatives.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor our hourly kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to preparation, sanitation, and presentation standards.
- Culinary Education and Experience: A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary certificate and experience in high-volume, fine-dining environments.
- Culinary Management Experience: Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a strong understanding of food trends, quality, production, food safety, and cost controls.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Certifications: ServSafe certified – highly desirable.
