We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team at Monster Energy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and building relationships with distributors, educating and motivating them to increase sales and market share.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and target new business opportunities with existing and potential distributors to maximize shelf space and product offerings.
- Train distributors' sales representatives and newly hired sales personnel on product knowledge and sales methodologies.
- Attend regular distributor meetings to stay informed and build relationships.
- Ensure distributors' merchandising personnel adequately service accounts based on sales achieved and shelf/floor space obtained.
- Develop and execute local and national sales programs to maximize sales and distribution of Monster Energy products.
- Coordinate marketing activities and events in various locations within the assigned territory.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to support sales and bonus programs objectives.
- Develop and maintain partnerships to drive improved performance and results.
- Ensure the sales team understands and adheres to company standards and operating procedures.
- Apply a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in the territory.
- Arrange for regular vehicle maintenance and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-organized to maintain a professional image.
- Manage sales forecasts and budgets to achieve established goals and deliver profitable growth for the assigned operating unit.
- Manage sales reporting obligations in a timely manner, including frequent sales updates and pricing surveys.
- Establish and maintain direct communication with all levels of the assigned distributor(s).
- Utilize all available tools and capabilities to maximize productivity and results in the assigned market.
- Sales experience and/or willingness to engage in sales training.
- Basic computer operating skills, including handheld devices.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to act independently.
- Ability to drive and maintain an assigned company vehicle and travel to and within territories as assigned.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and expense management skills.
- Ability to perform physical activities required by the job duties, including lifting and moving up to 65 pounds individually and greater weights with assistance.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Proven knowledge of wholesalers, distributors, and retail customers, with the ability to establish good relationships and credibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
We offer a competitive base pay range of $49,500 - $66,000 and a dynamic work environment that values innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
