Job Title: Transportation Project Manager

Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to lead and manage transportation projects from concept to completion.

Job Description:

We offer a full flexibility remote and office work environment with technical support from highly experienced engineering, surveying, environmental, and administrative staff to aid in the successful delivery of quality transportation projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire project teams to plan, execute, and deliver transportation improvement projects from start to end of their lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
  • Work on multiple unique assignments concurrently, leading internal and project meetings to discuss workload, resource utilization, and project pursuits.
  • Collaborate and communicate with consultants, key stakeholders, and clients to drive project success.
  • Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fellow project managers, team members, and foster their professional development and growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 4 years in task management, project management roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge in transportation engineering, state and federal regulations, and proficiency in project management tools.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
