Job Summary

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planning Project Manager to lead capital projects and ensure compliance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) processes. This role involves overseeing projects from initial planning through design and execution, with a focus on county transit capital projects and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with regional and local clients to deliver excellent service.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects of diverse scopes and complexities, including Bus Transfer Facilities, Light Rail projects, and Alternative Analysis for circulator systems.
  • Lead the planning and development of project deliverables, ensuring high quality and meeting contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to deliver project results and develop project budgets.
  • Perform technical analyses and compile project reports, as well as prepare and deliver technical presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning (preferred) or Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in transportation planning, with experience managing projects with the Federal Transit Administration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Transportation Planning, or equivalent experience.
  • AICP certification or Georgia Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain one via reciprocity within 6 months.
