The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, teamwork, sound judgment, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Project Managers with project initiation, governmental reporting, and forecasting activities.

- Ensure accurate allocation of costs, budgeting, and monitoring of all billed and unbilled expenses.

- Manage subcontractor relations, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking processes.

- Compare project costs against budgets to guarantee correct cost allocation.

- Generate monthly financial and status reports, including project accruals, while acting as a liaison between Accounting teams and Project Managers to ensure accurate monthly expense accounting.

- Reconcile vendor accounts by verifying monthly statements and related transactions.

- Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of project structures, cost accruals, billings, and financial reporting.

- Analyze actual costs to identify any misallocations on assigned projects and report on unbilled balances and billing discrepancies.

- Maintain ongoing communication with Project Managers and Finance and Accounting personnel to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate potential risks.

- Guarantee timely and accurate reporting of all financial information related to assigned projects.

- Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements.

- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

- Educational background: High School Diploma or GED with 20 years of experience, Associate's degree with 14 years, Bachelor's degree with 12 years, or Master's degree with 10 years of experience.

- Proficiency in FAR and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet specified deadlines.

- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical capabilities.

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requirements effectively.

- Capacity to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

- Proven ability to take ownership of issues and pursue resolutions to completion.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Costpoint/Deltek.

- Familiarity with Cognos reporting.

- Knowledge of PowerBi reporting.
