Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

We are partnering with a highly reputable company in Downtown LA to find a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team. This role will play a key part in shaping both internal and external financial reports, including SEC filings and regulatory reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key regulatory reports, such as call reports, FR Y-9LP, and FR Y-9C.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Prepare risk-based capital ratios and support stock-based compensation accounting.
  • Research accounting matters and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Prepare internal reports for executive leadership and support ad-hoc financial projects.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned financial reporting professional with at least 5 years of public accounting or public company experience.
  • CPA license or MBA preferred, with knowledge of SEC and GAAP requirements.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, can prioritize tasks effectively, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft GL and Workiva software is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, you demonstrate excellent research skills and can navigate complex reporting requirements with ease.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
