Aircraft Structures Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing O-Level Corrosion control on 5th generation Fighter Jets (F-35 Aircraft).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Outer Mold Line (OML) inspections, coating system repair, and corrosion control inspections.
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts with Maintenance Operation Center (MOC) to ensure timely return of aircraft to mission capable status.
  • Plan and coordinate shop workload and dispatch personnel as required.
  • Ensure that assigned personnel have access to and use adequate technical data during all phases of aircraft maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Active secret clearance.
  • 1+ years' experience on fifth generation fighter Jet (F-22/F-35). FA-18 Superhornets from the Navy can work possibly / will be considered.
Benefits:
  • 37.03-$40.40/Hour With Shift Differential.
  • 40 Hour Work Week.
  • $8,500 relocation bonus paid out on first payroll.
  • $5,000 sign on bonus after 90 days of employment.
  • 14 Days of initial housing is provided.
  • 5 Paid Floating Holidays.
  • Able to participate in the company's retirement plan following 90 days of service in accordance with company policy.
