Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at Mary Cariola Center. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will provide appropriate care and support to students with developmental delays, including health, safety, and personal care. You will also provide behavioral support and take direction from the Behavior Therapist, Behavior Therapy Supervisor, or Lead Crisis Intervention Specialist.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavioral support to students as assigned
  • Participate on an interdisciplinary team to provide initial and ongoing evaluations for each student
  • Maintain certification in all agency-approved crisis intervention programs
  • Stay current in the field of Behavior Analysis by participating in department meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Assist classrooms during behavioral crisis situations
  • Assist Behavior Therapists with data computation, data entry, and data filing
  • Complete fidelity checks to ensure proper implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related experience and/or training with students with developmental delays
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
