Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level P6 scheduler responsible for the creation and upkeep of integrated studies and execution project timelines, including maintenance shutdowns. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding and practical application of project methodologies and Project Controls practices, encompassing planning principles, scheduling, risk/change management, cost/schedule integration, and performance assessment.

In this capacity, you will leverage your expertise and experience in a technical or professional field. You will address a variety of challenges using established procedures and solutions, with moderate guidance and direction. Reporting to the Manager of Schedule Controls, your responsibilities will include:

Developing, maintaining, and reporting on project plans and schedules Assisting with the daily updates of annual plant shutdown schedules Participating in project schedule review sessions and updating timelines Aiding in the preservation of integrated project schedule integrity Contributing to the preparation of monthly schedule reports, including thorough analysis Supporting schedule development and monitoring for designated areas Identifying opportunities for enhancing work processes Ensuring adherence to standardized processes, systems, and tools Maintaining relationships with contractors and other project planning stakeholders Collaborating with cost engineering and estimating teams to articulate the implications of changes effectively.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

A minimum of 3+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling is preferred. Experience in project planning/scheduling within industrial and/or construction settings. Proven expertise and comprehensive knowledge of P6 Primavera Scheduling Software. Experience in integrating contractor schedules into a master project timeline. Capability to apply project scheduling techniques across various projects and disciplines.
