Position Overview

Cash App is seeking a Manual Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer with exceptional technical acumen, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills to uphold the quality of mobile applications utilized by millions of users daily.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve comprehensively understanding and analyzing project requirements while collaborating closely with release management, quality assurance teams, and product and engineering departments to develop smoke, regression, and feature test suites.

In our dynamic work environment, strong communication and collaboration between Client Engineers and interdepartmental QA teams are essential.

Core Duties

- Collaborate with developers and colleagues to take ownership of the quality and deployment of features, spearheading testing efforts across various product domains.
- Exhibit proficiency in debugging, log analysis, and applying analytical reasoning to systematically evaluate project quality.
- Partner with QA & Release Managers to validate releases and investigate issues arising from the Early Access Program.

Strategic Contributions

- Lead QA Strategy and Test Planning for comprehensive testing of new features in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to product requirements.
- Define and monitor critical quality metrics to drive organization-wide quality enhancements.
- Escalate significant bugs and collaborate with developers to prioritize resolutions.

Cross-Functional Influence

- Work across multiple development teams and departments to impact software architecture and design, focusing on validating all necessary features and functions for user success.
- Manage multiple initiatives concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Advocate for an exceptional customer experience within product engineering through ongoing product and process enhancements.
