You will engage in comprehending and evaluating requirements while collaborating closely with release management, quality assurance teams, product managers, and engineering personnel to develop smoke, regression, and feature test suites. Our work environment is dynamic, emphasizing robust communication and teamwork among Client Engineers and various QA departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside developers and colleagues to take ownership of the quality and deployment of features, spearheading testing initiatives across diverse product domains.
  • Exhibit proficiency in debugging, analyzing logs, and applying analytical reasoning to systematically evaluate project quality.
  • Collaborate with QA & Release Managers to validate releases and address issues arising from the Early Access Program.
  • Lead QA Strategy and Test Planning for comprehensive testing of new features with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to product requirements.
  • Establish and monitor essential quality metrics to drive organization-wide quality enhancements.
  • Identify critical bugs and coordinate with developers to prioritize resolutions.
  • Engage with multiple development teams and departments to influence software architecture and design, focusing on validating all necessary features and functions for user success.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Promote an exceptional customer experience within product engineering through continuous product and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • 4-6+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
  • Ability to identify, categorize, prioritize, and resolve issues across various products and software releases.
  • Experience as a strong collaborator on cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for quality assurance and a knack for uncovering issues during internal testing.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum development setting.
  • Understanding of Client/Server Architecture and the mobile domain.
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, with a talent for developing innovative methods to identify software issues.
  • Experience in resolving technical challenges with both engineers and product managers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in validating and delivering successful weekly mobile releases.
  • Interest in developing a team, strategy, and practices during the early stages of organizational growth.
  • Experience managing or collaborating with contractors and/or testing vendors.
