CAMBA is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families in need. We are seeking a skilled Residential Aide to join our team at the Rising Up Men's Shelter in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Summary: The Residential Aide will work closely with clients to develop daily independent living skills, provide guidance on personal hygiene, meal preparation, and schedule management. This role requires a strong focus on supporting clients in achieving stability and transitioning into permanent housing.

About the Role: As a Residential Aide, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients in developing daily living skills through individual and group sessions
  • Maintaining inventory of food and dry goods
  • Orienting new clients to the facility, services, and personal care items

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Bi-lingual skills are preferred, and you must be able to participate in Department of Health Food Protection 15 hour Course and obtain certification as a Food Handler. Additionally, you may be required to become First Aid/CPR certified and/or certified in overdose prevention.

Compensation: $16 hourly
