Key Responsibilities- Patient Greeting and Verification: Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner, verifying their information and ensuring accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Maintain appointment scheduling systems, including scheduling, coordinating, and adjusting patient appointments as needed.
- Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, communicating with insurance companies as necessary, and providing visit-specific information and scheduling future appointments.
- Financial Transactions: Collect patient co-pay and outstanding account balances, and prepare office batches and balance patient payments received at the end of each workday.
- Front Desk and Waiting Area: Maintain a clean and orderly front desk and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- Electronic Medical Record: Enter patient clinical information into the electronic medical record as related to assigned tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Participate fully as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team, working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.
- Education: High School Graduate
- Experience: Previous related experience
