Position Summary: The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in steering the organization towards its strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement Annual Operating Plans and strategic business initiatives that align with the company's growth and financial goals.

  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of products to meet customer expectations, fostering strong customer relationships.

  • Guide department heads and value stream managers to ensure that new programs align with current and future business objectives.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that support site maturity and capability, in line with Triumph Policy Deployment.
  • Optimize resource utilization by enhancing Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Act as a representative for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Encourage workforce engagement through training, positive employee relations, and effective performance management.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in program management or operations leadership is essential.
  • Experience in flexible production environments is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and positive employee relations.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organization.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
