Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Healthcare Specialist to join our team at DASCO HME LLC. As a key member of our Clinical Outcomes Team, you will provide clinical insight and education to patients, as well as instruction on the safe and appropriate use of home respiratory and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, personal care, symptom recognition, equipment use, and care.
  • Complete daily tasks, including general follow-up with patients, NIV follow-ups, and phone calls to patients and families as needed.
  • Support the continuum of care by creating and/or overseeing care plans, communicating with physicians and other clinicians, and identifying and resolving patient care issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge of DASCO equipment and services, and assist with quality control, maintenance of equipment, and general support of daily Clinical Outcomes Team operations.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, The Joint Commission, State Respiratory Care Board, State Pharmacy Board, and all other applicable rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Professional licensure or certification, such as CRT, RRT, LPN, or RN.
  • Six months' experience in a clinical services role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Six months' experience in healthcare, medical, insurance, or DME customer service.

This is a part-time position with in-office days on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Full-time employment may be eligible for highly qualified candidates.
