About the Role

As a General Merchandise Expert at Target, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional shopping experience. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that products are properly stocked, priced, and signed.
  • Process inbound deliveries, accurately receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Assist with inventory management, including conducting weekly price change workload and completing backroom audits.
  • Work collaboratively with the General Merchandise team to achieve sales goals and improve store operations.
Requirements
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
