Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled construction bookkeeping specialist to join our team at Nation's Contractor Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and construction industry practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, inventory, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement systems to account for financial transactions and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Assist management in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely payments and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • 2-year community college business degree with bookkeeping or accounting courses required.
  • 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks and construction industry practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
