As an Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in this transformation, working closely with our maintenance team to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance in planning, executing, troubleshooting, and repairing production facility enhancements to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering on project execution and optimization.
  • Implement enhancements and conduct maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

Essential Duties:

  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
  • Ensure that preventative maintenance and safety procedures are current and effectively implemented.
  • Operate and assess newly repaired machinery to confirm repair effectiveness.
  • Advise on equipment purchases to enhance production efficiency.
  • Uphold quality standards while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design and construct basic electronic circuits and programmable logic controllers.
  • Exhibit a strong aptitude for technology and a keen interest in understanding operational mechanics, including software and hardware knowledge in IT systems.
  • Provide on-call support to the maintenance department on a rotational basis.
  • Assist in the planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Contribute to the design and fabrication of tools to support production activities.
  • Engage in project planning and execution.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, including other technicians and management, to ensure clear information exchange.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in programming, interfacing, and troubleshooting systems governed by programmable logic controllers.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues in electro-mechanical circuits utilized in machine control.
  • Experience in selecting, constructing, and troubleshooting various motor and power control circuits.
  • Competence in using appropriate tools and instruments for electrical and mechanical system analysis.
  • Familiarity with PC usage and various software applications as needed.
  • Capability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and apply engineering principles to real-world scenarios.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation and reports.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

Education and Experience:

  • A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in mechanical, electronics, and information technology fields is necessary.
  • Experience in a mixed manufacturing and office environment is advantageous.

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours to meet manufacturing and project demands.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in using both hands and feet regularly.
  • Awareness of occupational hazards and safety procedures related to mechanical and electrical work.

Available Shifts:

  • A Shift: Monday - 6:00am-6:30pm, Tuesday to Thursday - 6:00am - 12:30pm, Sunday - 6:00am-6:30pm
  • C Shift: Monday - 6:00pm-6:30am, Tuesday to Thursday - 6:00pm - 12:30am, Sunday - 6:00pm-6:30am
  • D Shift: Tuesday to Thursday - 12:00am-6:30am, Friday and Saturday - 6:00pm - 6:30am
