Research Assistant 2 Position

Job Summary:
The Research Assistant 2 position is available in the Multiple Myeloma Research Laboratory at The Ohio State University. The successful candidate will perform independent standard cell biology laboratory techniques, including mammalian cell culture, DNA, RNA, and protein extraction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare solutions and reagents for laboratory experiments.
- Execute designated experiments and translate data to communicate results to the Principal Investigator.
- Assist in judging the validity of data and maintain accurate and detailed notes.
- Write research progress reports and maintain a quality lab environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required, 4-6 years preferred.
