Salary Range: $100K-$125K base salary (total compensation up to $150K)

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to fill the role of Director of Relationship Management. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with a team of four Relationship Managers and the firm's partners to effectively assist clients in managing critical aspects of their portfolios and daily requirements while enhancing existing operational workflows. Your role will also involve serving as the primary Relationship Manager for select clients, addressing their daily needs with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing workflow efficiencies and developing or implementing processes to optimize operations.
  • Overseeing a team of four Relationship Managers, with plans for future expansion.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Relationship Management team and the partners, including the Chief Investment Officer.
  • Engaging in various firm initiatives such as client events and committee projects.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and training of new team members as the firm grows.
  • Implementing personalized client initiatives, such as sending birthday greetings, holiday gifts, and care packages.
  • Managing urgent client issues, including trade corrections and account openings, ensuring swift resolution and prevention of recurrence.
  • Facilitating new client onboarding and account management.
  • Responding promptly to client requests for funds and information.
  • Executing financial transactions, including journal entries, check requests, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
  • Assisting clients with 529 plan contributions and distributions.
  • Processing charitable contributions.
  • Handling phone inquiries and monitoring fax communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an RIA or private banking setting, ideally in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with clients.
  • Capability to think creatively, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to various projects.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Salentica, SMArtX, and Black Diamond software is advantageous.
  • A sense of humor and an entrepreneurial spirit are valued.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance, as this position is primarily office-based.
