**Job Overview

The Old Dominion Group is a leading construction company seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to oversee smaller projects from start to finish. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in managing budgets, ensuring project profitability, and maintaining a safe work environment.

**Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct overall project activities, including planning, coordination, and meeting critical milestones.
  • Identify and resolve project-related problems that may arise.
  • Work alongside safety departments to ensure a zero-accident work environment.
  • Organize and update project trackers and other project-specific documents.

**Requirements:

  • Associates degree with 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction; or
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or another related field with 1+ year of progressively responsible construction experience;
  • Any similar combination of education and experience as listed above.
  • Working knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and mechanical drawings.
