Job Summary

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to produce high-quality radiographic images for medical interpretation. The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist will interact with various healthcare staff, patients, and families, and will be responsible for performing radiologic exams and producing high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform optimal x-rays and rotate through several modalities, including portables on the floors, surgery, fluoro, and the emergency department.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians.
  • Continuously educate and learn new procedures on a day-to-day basis.
  • Answer phones and communicate with different floors in the hospital.
  • Move C-ARM and OARM's.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a two-year certificate program certified by the ASRT in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed or eligible for license by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology.
  • CPR certified.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS Degree.
  • More than one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or a related field.
