Job Summary

This position is responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images for medical interpretation and interacting with healthcare staff, patients, and families. The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist must perform radiologic exams and produce images that meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform optimal x-rays and rotate through various modalities, including portables on the floors, surgery, fluoro, and the emergency department.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians.
  • Continuously educate and learn new procedures to stay up-to-date in the field.
  • Answer phones and communicate with different floors in the hospital.
  • Move C-ARM and OARM equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a two-year certificate program certified by the ASRT in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed or eligible for license by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology.
  • CPR certified.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS Degree.
  • More than one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or a related field.
